How All-on-4 works
Four implants are placed in the jaw, the back two usually angled to make the most of the available bone. A full-arch bridge of teeth is then fixed to them. For many people this avoids the separate bone grafts that a larger number of individual implants might need, but suitability depends on your bone, which a 3D scan shows.

The process

Looking after your new teeth
- Clean around and under the bridge every day; we show you how, including with water flossers and special brushes.
- Keep up regular check-ups and professional cleaning.
- Stop smoking if you can. It is one of the biggest risks to implant health.
- If you grind your teeth, a night guard protects the bridge.
