Defence Colony is where Nanda Dental started, in 2012. It remains a full specialist clinic: orthodontics, implants, gum treatment and cosmetic work are each handled by the specialist trained for them, with the same technology and the same team as our Gurgaon practice.

Who will see me at the Defence Colony clinic?

Invisalign, clear aligners and braces are planned by Dr. Smriti Nanda, an orthodontist and cosmetic dentist. Dental implants, smile makeovers, gum treatment and full-mouth rehabilitation are carried out by Dr. Prashant Nanda, a periodontist and implantologist and a Fellow of the ICOI (USA).

How long has the Defence Colony clinic been open?

Since 2012. It was the first Nanda Dental clinic, and the Golf Course Road clinic in Gurgaon followed later. Both are run on the same principle: every treatment is done by the specialist trained for it.

What technology is used at the Delhi clinic?

The clinic uses an iTero Lumina 5D intraoral scanner, so impressions are taken digitally rather than with putty trays. Treatment rooms have ceiling-mounted screens, and sedation is available on request.

Defence Colony is where the practice began in 2012, and both founding specialists still treat here. Many of the families who registered in the first years are still patients, which is why a good share of the work at this clinic is long-term care rather than one-off treatment.

Periodontist and Implantologist

Dental implants, full-mouth rehabilitation and gum treatment, and the veneer and crown work. He co-founded the practice here in 2012.

Orthodontist

Invisalign and braces for adults and teenagers, alignment ahead of veneer cases, and most of the children seen at the clinic.

Coming to the Defence Colony clinic

Appointments are booked with the right specialist. Implant and gum cases are seen by Dr. Prashant, alignment cases by Dr. Smriti, rather than by whoever happens to be free.
Records before recommendations. Where a scan is useful we use the iTero Lumina scanner, so no putty impression trays are needed.
Nothing begins until you have seen the plan. The treatment, the likely timeline and the cost are set out first, and there is no pressure to decide on the day.
