Tooth Brushing 

First and foremost is to brush twice a day. Brushing at night is in fact more important to prevent cavities than brushing in the morning. You can use either a manual or an electric toothbrush. We would however recommend using a soft bristled brush since brushing your teeth too hard can actually damage your teeth.

Flossing 

Next, try flossing everyday. Flossing helps in cleaning out the spaces in between your teeth where the brush cannot reach. In case you have never flossed in your life, start with 2 or 3 times a week and then gradually take it from there. 

Gum Care

If your gums bleed, the best way to keep them healthy is to do warm saline mouth rinses. The more you do this, the better you would feel.

Oil Pulling

Oil pulling is another great habit. This involves swishing cold pressed oil in your mouth for a few minutes. It’s a great way to improve oral health and remove toxins from the mouth.Apart from this we would strongly recommend you to visit a Dentist once in 6 months for a regular check up.
