Invisalign in Defence Colony, South Delhi
At our Defence Colony clinic, every Invisalign case is planned and supervised by Dr. Smriti Nanda, an orthodontist (MDS) and Invisalign Diamond Provider. Treatment costs ₹1,50,000 to ₹3,00,000, confirmed after a 3D scan. The first consultation is free.
We usually reply on WhatsApp within a few hours, Monday to Saturday.
Who plans your treatment
Dr. Smriti Nanda is a specialist orthodontist (MDS, Orthodontics) and an Invisalign Diamond Provider. She plans and checks every Invisalign case at both of our clinics herself, rather than handing planning to a general dentist or a remote lab. In Defence Colony she sees patients on Monday and Friday; on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday she is at our Golf Course Road clinic in Gurgaon.
What Invisalign can correct
- Crowded or overlapping teeth
- Gaps between teeth, including a gap between the front teeth
- Overbite, underbite, crossbite and open bite, depending on severity
- Teeth that have moved back after braces
- Alignment before veneers or other cosmetic work, so less tooth needs to be prepared
Invisalign is not the right answer for every bite. Some severe skeletal problems need braces, and occasionally jaw surgery alongside orthodontics. Dr. Smriti will tell you honestly at the first visit if another option would work better for you, including fixed braces.
How treatment works at our Defence Colony clinic
- Consultation and 3D scan. We take an iTero digital scan instead of putty impressions and talk through what you want to change.
- Your treatment plan. Dr. Smriti designs the tooth movements in Invisalign’s ClinCheck software and shows you the planned result, the number of aligners and the expected time before you commit.
- Wearing your aligners. Aligners are worn for about 20 to 22 hours a day and taken out to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush.
- Check-ups. You visit every few weeks so progress can be checked against the plan. Visits can be split between Defence Colony and Gurgaon if that suits you.
- Retainers. When the movement is finished, retainers keep your teeth in their new position.
How long it takes
Most of our Invisalign treatments take about 6 months to a year. Larger corrections can take up to 2 years. Wearing aligners for the full recommended hours is the biggest factor you control.
What it costs
Invisalign at Nanda Dental costs ₹1,50,000 to ₹3,00,000 for the full course, at the same price range in Defence Colony and Gurgaon. Where your case falls depends on how far your teeth need to move and how many aligners you need. Payment by cash, card, UPI or EMI. See the full breakdown on our Invisalign cost in Delhi page.
Invisalign for teenagers
Invisalign also works for many teenagers once the permanent teeth have come through. Aligners are removable, so teens can brush and floss normally, and there are no wires to break before an exam or a match. Compliance matters: aligners only work when they are worn. Read more in Invisalign for teenagers, or see when a child should first see an orthodontist.
Invisalign or cheaper aligners?
Lower-priced aligner brands and at-home kits are widely advertised. The difference that matters most is not the plastic but who plans the movement and checks it in person. We explain the trade-offs in cheap aligners vs Invisalign.
